Saving streamed windows media file

How to save file I stream with media player (save option doesn't work)?

I want to stream it (or directly download it) and watch it later.

Let WMP download it and then look into internet temporary folders in Documents and Settings folder. It should be there somewhere.

If it's a streamed video, it won't be saved anywhere (cuz it's streamed, not downloaded)
You need a prog called StreamboxVCR to take care of downloading it.
Unfortunately I never learned how to use it

But maybe you can figure it out

There is another application I have used called WMR, Windows Media Recorder. The interface was very straightforward and worked beautifully. I am not sure where to get it at this point, and I haven't had a need for it in some time, but that's what I would do. Good luck!
