uninstaller for unlogged programs
I need an uninstaller for programs that dont have their own uninstaller and are not logged. I have reformatted a few times since adding some programs to my "app partition" And I just noticed that some beta software doesnt have an uninstaller.
Unfortunately I know just about jack about my registry so I dont know how to use the ones that make you select what keys to delete. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks |

there're two kind of uninstaller programs that i know.., one that requires a record of an exactly what the install program did installing (like most of normal uninstaller program which requires an install.log, uninstall.log, name of this recored/log may very form program to program) it cannot help you removing the softwares if you didn't monitor and make a record at the time of the softwares installations nor the installation records is in a different format that the uninstaller requires/uses.
another one is just a front end to the uninstall's registry or shortcut to the normal program's uninstaller this kind of uninstaller program is more like Windows's add/remove. with a different GUI. many of programs do not need an uninstaller since these programs never make any change to Windows system. manually uninstall these programs by removing all of its files from your system. check out the program's readme, help files, homepage, supports section or forums on their web site. email the program's support or the author. what's the name of the program? |
