Help Using Replace Color in Photoshop
I am OK at using photoshop, at least w/ the basic stuff, but one command I can not seem to figure out is replace color. Lets say I have a half red half blue square, and I want to make it all blue w/ the top matching the bottom. (I know you can do this an easier way, but this was the best way I could think of to describe the problem.) I select the red part of the square, goto image/adjustments/replace color. I make sure selection is checked then click on the image in the red for the color to replace. Then I click the color swatch at the bottom "result" and put the eyedropper on the blue part of the square. The color swatch is showing the right color, but in the image the area i tried to replace is alot lighter than the top half. Its almost like its doing some sort of blending or overlaying. I feel like this should be very easy to do, but I am missing something stupid. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Kevin
