Win Dvd Creator 2.0 Help

Im having trouble aligning the sound with the video files when i import mpeg video clips. It kinda looks like one of those japanese movies where the voice in the movie and the person talking are not in sync... So how do i fix this ?

Im pretty sure it needs me to convert the mpeg into another format but im not sure which or how to do it. The program is used mainly for camcorders.

Basically what im doing is putting together a bunch of clips, to make a mini movie...
