Adobe Acrobat Pro & Microsoft Outlook

I was helping a co-worker with a video problem, and after that was sorted (he was still running the 3.8 cats !!) he showed me a problem that he has with M$ outlook.

He has recently installed Adobe Acrobat Pro, and when he opens MS Outlook, the menu bar is loaded with the words Adobe_pdf. I didn't count the number, but the bar is now something like 6 lines deep.

If you click on them nothing really happens, and you can't right click and delete, nor can you do anything if you try to edit that bar.

Has anyone here had, or heard of this problem? If so what is the cure, if any.
