8800GTX SLI
For our 8800 SLI testing we chose to use 1920x1200 for all tests, all use 16xQ Anti Aliasing and 16x Aniostropic Filtering. Throughout the Forceware 100.54 documentation it mentions that SLI pretty much isn’t ready yet however the options are there in the driver so let’s see what happens when we enable the options. Due to time constraints we have chose the 4 games being tested for the following reasons:

Oblivion: Large outdoor environments and HDR.
FEAR:EP : Smaller claustrophobic environments
NFSC: Fast paced action with demanding visual effects
PREY: OpenGL

Based on our results there is still a lot to do development wise on SLI for Vista, the only game we have tested which shows any real benefit is Oblivion. The other games all run without issue (image quality wise) however they don’t benefit from any noticeable speed increases.
