SB Live Platinum SPDIF Issue

Hello friends, i have a problem with my Live Drive´s Spdif input, and any help from you is very appreciated.

Im trying to use the Live Drive´s SPDIF I/O to send and receive audio from/to a Phonic mixer im using. The SPDIF output is working fine, when connected to the mixer, the mixer receives the audio data perfectly, but when i try to send audio from the mixer to the soundcard nothing hapens. I want to record the SPDIF signal from the mixer to Ableton Live using the KX Asio driver. So i figured all i needed to do was connect a SRC plugin (ProFX) set at Coaxial/Optical SPDIF IN, into any of the Asio plugins´s input. I tried that configuration and several other and nothing seems to work.

I have tested the Phonic SPDIF output connected to other digital audio devices and it works fine. Im Using a Soundblaster Live! Platinum (CT4760) card with one of the older Live Drives (the one with only Midi I/Os, Line in, phones out and SPDIF I/O) and the kx driver version 3537

I hope someone can come up with a solution to this

System Specs

test all SPDIF inputs on the prolog using a peakmeter while you are sending a signal through the wire

Thanks for the suggestion, i tried it, but the meter reads no signal in any digital input...

I dont know if this is relevant but i went into kx settings/SPDIF I2S status
and all Spdif inputs appear as unused.
