Hi there,
I am really pleased and stunned at the performance I am getting from the excellent KX Project drivers on my SBLive 5.1 Platinum. (Stunning low latency on VSTi's and on cubase software monitoring and general audio quality) However I am having two problems, one big, one less so. They are: 1) When I record Audio on ACID PRO 4.0 at 48K using the ASIO drivers I have a problem I can't work out. I record in through Line in/Mic 2 on the SBLive Breakout box and having sussed out ASIO routing I can record that Audio fine. I get a level, it records the audio and plays it back. HOWEVER! I can't monitor the audio as it's recording. The peak meter is registering the level of the input and it records the WAV track fine BUT I can't hear it as it's being recorded. I have no monitoring sound. Can you help? I have scoured the manual but can't work it out. Presume it's a routing issue? I can monitor in Cubase through Cubase's software monitoring but ACID only uses the "hardware" monitoring. Really frustrating problem 2) The second question is that in Cubase 5.1 I tried to record 2 audio tracks simultaneously. I got them set up and routed and was getting level on both but whenever I start to record it switches one of them off. Can you record multiple tracks at all with the SBLive 5.1 Platinum or does the way its hardware work not permit it. (I have read about routing problems?) Hope someone can help. These drivers are amazing though. A huge thankyou to everyone involved! Best regards Artful Badger |

Quote:
... try going to the DSP page, and connecting the inputs you want, from *prolog > IN input on the routing* AND *prolog > ASIO input on epilog* I hope that makes sense, hehe Quote:
you can now set up as many audio tracks to record as you want. just "enable" the ones you want (a new icon appears in the inspector column to show which ones are enabled, and select different inputs for each. |
