SB Live! 24bit ?

seems like a dumb question but will kx support 24 bit for Live! cards? i mean they're EMU10k1 too...

probably, but that won't make too much sence since ADC's of the Live are 16-bit...

i suspected there was some kind of hardware limitation. But before i go for an augigy is there a way to lower the mic noise for the Live!? perhaps a mic preamp on the line in ?

Buy a live drive and you'll get a really low noise floor from the drive's imputs.
