Weird Speed thing in Cubase
I just installed the kX audio drivers for use with Cubase and Reason, and in general they seem to work flawlessly, after a bit of tweaking. I can record and play back from line in and microphone perfectly fine without any audible delay...but i've hit a rather odd problem.
I re-loaded a track i had recorded in cubase before i installed the driver, and when I play it back, all the vocals are sped up. It's really odd, and i don't know what's causing it. They play back that way whether I use the kX ASIO or the DirectX ASIO, it still sounds sped up. what's causing this and how can I fix it? thanks. |

resample the wav files
i think, you had it record with the creative drivers in 44,1k but the asio is hardwarelocked to 48k. try to resample the files to 48 and then it shoud be fixed

same problem:
in cubase i have a constant samplerate of 48khz with the asio-driver, although a need 44,1khz. (i have a large amount of samples in 16bit/44.1khz) can i change that somehow without resampling everything? thank you! |
