ASIO Setup with guitar - Not working
Hi guys,
Im new to plugging my guitar into my computer and im using a mono to mono jack to plug my guitar lead into my line in on my computer. It works fine playing through my speakers but when i try to use Wave GTR in conjunction with ASIO - all i get is squeeling and screeching with no improvement when i try to play around with the settings. Any help on this is much appreciated, Thanx |

What ASIO host are you using? Have you changed the kX DSP config at all? |

He uses Wave GTR which probably can run standalone and as such has a "build-in" ASIO host.

Is there a reason to use ASIO4ALL?
I ask because, using ASIO4ALL vs kX ASIO will affect what to do. |

Re: ASIO Setup with guitar - Not working
you'll need a DI box of some variety to get your guitar lvel to match the level/impedence of the mic/line inputs on your soundcard
