ASIO 2.0 driver

Hi!

Does anybody have an ASIO 2.0 driver for audigy 2 zs?
I've been searching like crazy for it.

Also, what is the best driver for xp? Daniel_k or the one on the creative site?

there is no problems with support asio 2.0 for audigy2zs..
support of asio 2.0 mode incl. in original driver, you can download latest version on official source;
but better use kx driver you will get asio 2.0 mode support and also best performance and quality..

Re: ASIO 2.0 driver

Are you talking about the Audigy 2ZS notebook or PCI card?

in any case, there is no problems with drivers for both versions of 'zs'..
in previous my post info was about 'pci' card;
but for 'pcmcia' (notebook) card situation with driver source the same..

some info about specifications and featuresupported with original driver (coming from official source):
asio 2.0 with direct monitoring for low latency multitracking (simultaneous stereo recording and multichannel playback), 16-bit to 24-bit recording sampling rates: 8, 11.025, 16, 22.05, 24, 32, 44.1, 48 and 96 kHz, including asio 2.0 support at 16-bit 48 kHz and 24-bit 96 kHz resolution;

Re: ASIO 2.0 driver

Hello.
Does anybody know if a newest version of KX driver (3547-x64) on Windows XP x64 supports ASIO2 in 32bit applications like for example FLStudio or not?

Re: ASIO 2.0 driver

No.

.3546/.3547 only supports 64bit applications/programs.

You may be able to use Fruityloops in rewire mode, or if you use SONAR, you can run some 32bit vst/i/dx/i apps because of bitbridge, or you can get jbridge to run some 32bit VST/i DX/i.

EDIT

I just learned that rewire is only a 32bit program functionality. Dang, I didn't know that.

Is this why I can't get Cubase SX3.1 to recognise kx ASIO under WinXP x64?

And to extend that further, do I simply need to revert to 32bit WinXP to use kx with Cubase? Is this the only way?

Thanks in advance

yep.

yep. Or you're to buy a newer Cubase that includes 64-bit binaries.
