Cant Install Kx drivers

Hi all, I have got the Sound Blaster Live 5.1 series (ID 0220), i have all the operative systems in mi computer and: 1) Windows 98 doesnt recognized the sound card, asign by default the 0222 model and after that i get an error, i try to find my model but it is not listed and in the faq seccion it says that the 0220 and the 0222 use identical chips so i don know why doesnt work.- 2) In Windows 2000 Pro, it recognize the chip as "EMU 10k" etc...and the joystick, but when you boot the computer theres an error, it says: "cant initialize your sound card - if u are installing ignore this message or try to reinstall drivers", y try reinstalling but nothing change and when i remove the drivers, windows still recognize the sound card with kx project.- Please Help me, dont know what to do and i need to work with midi inputs.- Thank you very much.-

go to the www.kxproject.com and read the FAQ for installing on w2k. on my comp. it was working well from the beginning. download the MFC-librarys manuell and copy it to your systemdir. and you have to check, is the hw-accerlation for the soundcard fully on. good luck, geri
