ASIO + SB xTreme Audio Notebook (X-Fi) + Cubase 5.0

Greetings my fellow computer freaks (compliment ^^)

(Introduction/Spec):
I have an HP HDX16 (the highest performance on the list) with Vista x64 OS. Since the integrated HD Audio driver sucks, I've added a Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi (Xtreme Audio NB) to be able to run a 5.1/7.1 SoundSystems and everything was running smoothly.

(Problem):
Which have occurred after installing *Cubase 5.0 (Music Production software)
*Switched from silly FL Studio8 to an aka Better Software*.
-While installing it, the setup has mentioned that my Default Audio driver (SB Xtreme etc) has no Digital Signature which I've found weird.
-In the software itself,
The VST plug-in is showing a malfunction and,
The ASIO is not connected.
-I've tried using the ASIO4ALL which comes with the FL Studio and enabled it, still no progress.

Well my questions are:
WHAT THE HECK IS ASIO?
and,
What's wrong with this setup, works with everything except this software which is considered a Pro one on the list, and what's with the Digital Signature issue??
the notebook is awesome, the sound card is pretty cool and i'm lost in here.

any help would be appreciated,
attachments included (print screens) of what i am encountering in here.

I don't see how this is kX related.
Anyway;
Your "Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook ExpressCard" doesn't come with a
native ASIO driver (first bummer), asio4all doesn't work with the card (second bummer)
and kX Project doesn't support it either (third bummer).

Bottom line; Buy another card that comes with an ASIO driver or try use your onboard sound device + ASIO4ALL.
