Need help with ASIO and software
Hey guys,
Bit of a newbie when it comes to this so please forgive me, I have Smaart v6 and am trying to configure it using Asio channels so that my PC mic is on the measured channel and internal music from my players come in on the reference channel. Now I have revamped my DSP for the best sound, so I know where my mic source and my music feeds are. I just need to know how to route the signals though the ASIO channels so that Smaat will pick it up. I have tried the Aisio Plugin to no avail. According to Smaart its looking for KX In 01-15 using the Asiso driver but which plugins do you use to source the singal to get it there. Because of my revamping my dsp I have to be consciousness of keeping the registers down to a minimum if I can help it. I don`t know about this but it would be nice if there was a plugin similar to the SRC that work in opposite where you could take any signal and route it into there and then pick which asio channel you want. Any ways any help is greatly apreciated, Thanks, soundguy |

Re: Need help with ASIO and software
The bottom 16 pins of epilog are the ASIO inputs for your software.
i.e. ASIO 0 on epilog is kX In 0 ASIO 1 on epilog is kX In 1 ASIO 2 on epilog is kX In 2 ... Your other option (if you are not using epilog) is to use the ProFX:ASIO plugin, but if you have a 10k2 card, make sure that you are using the latest version of ProFX and not the bundled version. If you have a 5.1 model (10k1), search the forum for "ASIO Mapping Issue". Last edited by Russ; Sep 23, 2009 at 04:33 AM. Reason: correction |
