is kx ASIO multiclient or not?

I've read OLD changelogs with references to bug fixes to do with ASIO multiclient capability ... then I read http://www.hardwareheaven.com/general-...same-time.html which says, ASIO multiclient capability may be a "fluke" in some versions

I'm using 3548, which doesn't seem to be "ASIO multiclient "

what is the definitive answer?

P.S. using portaudio v19 - which (supposedly) supports multiclient ASIO

In short: No, it is not.

The only "multi" near "ASIO" i can find in changelogs is: "Added support for multiple ASIO drivers" for v38, but that's not it. AFAIU, this feature is to provide simultaneous ASIO for each kX board (when more then one installed).

ah, that one... forget, it was 8 years ago. (ASIO driver was rewritten from scratch several times since then, those times "multiclient" was very limited anyway)
