Kx ASIO + Foobar ? Where is the kx driver ?

Hi,
I'm trying to configure Foobar with Kx ASIO (+ pci card CT4830), but I don't see the Kx ASIO in the "driver" settings :

(took from another website but that's the same thing).

I only see the ASIO4all driver I used until then with my internal sound chip.

Can you explain me how to configure Foobar + Kx ASIO ?

Thank you !

You need to go into the preferences, output menu. Also look in the Components menu and see if the Asio plug-in is installed.

What OS are you using?

If you are using Win7, then you have to manually register the kxasio.dll.

Yes, I'm using windows 7 x64 + Foobar x86 (I don't think a special x64 release exists).
I have the foo_out_asio.dll (1.2.7) on the Foobar "component" folder.
I deinstalled the old Asio4all just to be sure, registered the dll (as an administrator, UAC is off) :
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\kX Audio Driver\3550\kxasio.dll"
(which was ok), restarted the PC ....

but it doesn't work
Under Foobar "ASIO Virtual Devices", when I try to add a new device, it answers me "No ASIO driver found"

From what I see on the web :
Is it an issue because of "x86" foobar application vs "x64" kX ASIO ?
If so, is there a solution ?

thanks

Right, the x64 version of kX does not currently support ASIO with 32 bit applications. There is no workaround or anything like that. You would have to use ASIO4ALL or maybe Kernel Streaming if you do not want to use the wave driver.

Having the same problem, have two not working options under ASIO, and thats vista x64. The two options are Creative ASIO fdriver and SB Audigy 2 ASIO (D000). I'm talking about ableton live audio settings...

So yeah, the ASIO4All is working but I think it is much better to make the other two options available as well. And it has to be made from KX cotrol panel, still no such thing though ;[
