The big problem with recording from different inputs
Hi, I have a problem. I have a card Audigy 2 ZS oem.Has such an entry that wants to use:
Line in (stereo) two possible separate inputs Mic (mono) one possible separate inputs AUX in (stereo) CD in (stereo) I have FL9 and there I choose the kx ASIO http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/8852/mixerw.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us ok..My question is: how to record sound with the mic in and line in separately... On Channel 1 gives the mic in On channel 2 gives the line in and cd in and aux in itp... ok this is my dsp.. add two ADC and wants to choose independently and aux mic...but when I change one of them on the aux it works only one main....Can I somehow send the mic on the ADC 1 ADC 2 aux? or even with ADC 3 line in...I would just have to work independently 4 ADC In conclusion .. want to record sound at the same time, the four microphones (stereo line is give me two mono channels) and give me aux 2 channel mono), but everyone has to be independent. It is possible with kx driver? http://img517.imageshack.us/content_...pg&via=mupload Last edited by kristopher0725; May 8, 2010 at 12:21 AM. |

Re: The big problem with recording from different inputs
You should only be using one instance of ADC.
To use MIC and Line In, open the GUI for ADC, choose MIC in both boxes on the left (REC SOURCE), and on the right hand side (MIXER) unmute the Line In slider and enable UDA. In the DSP, the top two ADC outputs (AC97) will be your MIC outputs and the bottom two (UDA) will be Line In. You are not going to be able to use any more AC97 inputs (independently) than the above (or similair) gives you (4 mono or 2 stereo, etc). Last edited by Russ; May 8, 2010 at 04:28 AM. |

Ok
So I understand you can not send music to each signal separately, as I showed in the picture? Imageshack - inkopia.jpg Czipset card does not allow it if there is such a plugin? This is my vision of a new plug-in ![]() Imageshack - newplugin.jpg if not possible then reply And more I will not loitering

Re: The big problem with recording from different inputs
No, it is not possible. AC97 has only one ADC, thus only one (stereo) analog signal can be used for input at a time (via AC97). However, that card also has a secondary codec (UDA, which has it's own ADC) that is linked with the AC97 mixer making it possible to access a second analog input from AC97, giving a total of two (stereo) AC97 inputs that can be used at the same time.
The above is a limitation of AC97, however the card can handle more inputs with additional hardware. (e.g. Audigy 2 drive, etc). |

Re: The big problem with recording from different inputs
Well it is a pity, I wanted to do drums diy but I have only four channels (headphones plugged into the AUX and the other plugged into the cd in, I made a snare, hi-hat, crash and TOM. Headphones turn up the sound very well. Here is my movie, plugged only snare
Wrzuta.pl - my diy pad kris0725pl But I have another idea ... kx ASIO gives me four stereo channels, as inclusion Realtek sound card that I have had an additional channel stereo, or 4 +2 = 6 is already good evenBut my dream was to make eight channels This is still an alternative to a pile of microphones into usb ...Oh, finish, and thanks for the explanation ... sorry for my english too but the kx drivers are best for me creative can kiss my ass: D
