Guitar Rig 4 + kx ASIO, no ASIO option?

I'm probably doing something incredibly stupid, but in Guitar Rig 4, there is no option to use kx asio. My only option is "WASAPI", either "kx 10k1 Audio (3550) - generic (2 in, 10 out)" or Realtek HD audio (onboard).
I've searched for hours for an answer, can't find one. Every guitar rig related answer, they've had an asio option, but I don't.
I have windows 7 x64, sb live value card + onboard sound. Can somebody help?

kX ASIO is only native 64-Bit. Make sure you run the 64-Bit version of Guitar Rig StandAlone. kX Asio will not be there for any 32-Bit versions of software.

Hope this helps.

Well Guitar Rig isn't 64 bit yet, is there anything else I could do besides wait for an update?

Re: Guitar Rig 4 + kx ASIO, no ASIO option?

There are 64 Bit VSTi versions of Guitar Rig 4 (GR4). I have GR3 LE, and the VSTi version is 64 Bit.

I'm not sure if the StandAlone version of 3 and 4 are 64 Bit, but the VSTi versions are available as 64 bit plug ins.

If you have Guitar Rig 4, pay attention to the installation steps, and remember where it installs the 64 bit VSTi, then point SONAR x64 Cakewalk Plug In Manager to that location for scanning. You should then, see GR4 in the Synth Rack Menu.

I would think GR4 StandAlone is also 64 bit compatible, but I don't have it, so I don't know for sure.

EDIT:

As a matter of fact, my Guitar Rig 3 LE StandAlone version says version 3.2.1.004x64, so I would think it's a 64 bit version. However, x 64 compatible doesn't always mean it's a native 64 Bit application. Also, I don't have a kX compatible card installed right now, so I can't check that out for you.

What version does your GR4 StandAlone say (in the Help\About box)?
