Hello
I've been trying for several hours to make ASIO IN to work, but I can't find my mistake. I have WIN2000 SP4 + latest KX drivers + SB Live Player 1024. In AC97 mixer, I chose Line IN http://geoffroy.montel.free.fr/asio/kxac97.jpg In the DSP window, I connected AC 97 IN to ASIO IN 14/15 http://geoffroy.montel.free.fr/asio/kxdsp.jpg The router outputs ASIO OUT 0/1 to front http://geoffroy.montel.free.fr/asio/kxrouter.jpg In the Console application, I chose the KX drivers : http://geoffroy.montel.free.fr/asio/consoleasio.jpg And connected the ASIO IN 15/16 (it starts at 1 not 0), to the ASIO OUT 0/1 I also connected a soft synth whose output are connected to ASIO OUT 0/1 http://geoffroy.montel.free.fr/asio/consolemain.jpg The result is that I'm only hearing the softsynth, not the ASIO INS. I tried with different in/outs, etc. but nothing makes it. Can you help me please ? Many thanks geoffroy |

Is your AC97 volume turned all the way up and not muted in the INS and OUTS page of the KX mixer (and not muted)? Do that. And if you don't want to here double sounds disconnect the prolog 2 first outputs off the routing.

Thank you so much!!
It works. I had the IN in the Recording mixer muted indeed. The weird part is that I have to access the ASIO in through INS 0 & 1 in Console whereas they are 14 & 15 in the mixer. But, whatever, that works thanks again, best wishes geoffroy |
