ASIO driver failing to initialize

Hi,

I am trying to get the Kx ASIO driver working with RT Player. I am version 5.10.00.3534 of the Kx drivers and the settings are the default settings the driver ships with.

When I try to set the ASIO driver to the Kx ASIO driver in RT Player's preferences I get an "Can't initialize the 'Kx ASIO' ASIO driver". I have tried re-installing the drivers but with no luck.

I am running Windows XP Pro and using a SBLive (CT4832) card.

If anyone can help I would be really grateful!

check if your hardware acceleration is set to full. from control panel --> souds.

Hi,

Just discovered the answer. It's not the hardware acceleration this time. It was that I had the frequency 44.1kHz which does not support recording, it must be set at 48kHz in the RT player control panel before setting the ASIO driver to the KX set.
