Clicks And Glitches with Plugins

I can't seem to get good low latency. I still get clicks and glitches at 10 m/s
No programes running

P4 1.8 Asus p4b533vm 768 ddr
HD:40 gig SBlive Platinum
Win XP. KX Project. Cubase SX

Is there anything I can do?

Check in the device manager your drives about DMA-mode. Activate DMA for each drive (except floppy

). Maybe this is a help!

Check if you have set up win xp to give priority to second plan programs (in system properties). Also, check if you don't have some stuff running in your task bar which is taking lots of resources. Try turning them all off (expect kx mixer) and see if clicks improves and you can achieve an even lower latency.
