latest stable release problem

i was usind the 3528 stable release for a while and dealing with "virtuallock failed" "-5" bug all the time so i have upgraded to 3534 stable release. ok there are no more -5 bugs hopping around but, i hear cracks and pops all the time. the vst performance and hd indicators on sx are just fine but i get those crack and pops anyways. so i went back to 3528, there are no more cracks and pops on audio but, the fatal -5 virtuallock failed thing is annoying too.

is this a common issue? is there any way to get sound right from 3534? what may be the problem?
