Hello>

How can I change the recording levels for ac97 line in with asio driver?
Im trying in the ac97 kx control panel and in kx record panel but the change that i make dont change the volume for tha recording. If I mute the ac97 input I can record ac97 inputs. What can I make to control this?

Excuse for my english.

Thank you.

To control the ASIO record level (for cubase/sonar etc), you need to use the AC97 slider on the ins/outs page of the mixer. The record page is only for MME/WDM recording (plain old windows media like sound recorder).

Assuming you have your ASIO software/host and the DSP connections configured properly, you should be able to adjust the line input level to suit. I find the best level for optimum noise level is 25% (on v3534 or earlier) or 0dB (on v3535 or later).

hth,

Matt.
