ASIO problems, desperately need someones help!!
Ok im almost about to give up. Heres what im trying to do.
I want to use Reason with Cubase SX. Is there anyway to have them both use the kx ASIO audio driver at the same time, cause at the moment it looks like its not possible. I start Reason and i load the kx ASIO driver, then i load Cubase SX and set it to the kx audio driver and i get a samplerate too high error. Any one know a good setup to use? The Reason im posting is because another setup i had, i had Reason using the kx ASIO driver and i had Cubase SX using ASIO multimedia driver and this worked fine, but when i recorded to a single track while playing the other tracks that were already recorded in the background, that sound would also get recorded onto the track i was using. This make sense? I want to get it so i dont record the stuff from the other tracks, just the stuff coming from Reason. I also need to be able to play the other tracks in the background so i can keep in time with everything. My setup if this helps: Soundblaster Audigy (latest kx drivers) Reason 2.5 Cubase SX 1.01 Windows XP w/SP1 |

Hi there,
Try to rewire reason into sx. use the rewire input settings in cubase and select the Reason Mix LR option, close cubase and reason. Now start cubase and then open reason. Reason will now be controlled by cubase. !
