Hello.
I have problems installing kx driver 3536 with my audigy soundcard (sb0092). My computer is a Dell Optiplex gx260, running under win2k. Actually everything seems to work except asio. The asio control panel don't pop up when I try to open it, and cubase refuses to launch kx asio driver (I get a " kx asio Init error : no error" message ...") I've tried to completely uninstall kxdriver and reinstall it maybe 3 times (using kxsetup), but it did'nt make any better. Please note that no other driver (like creative ones) had been installed before theese attemps. I'm allready using kx with sblive and win2k on another computer at home (athlon 500 - k7M), and I met a similar problem at the begining. I had to re install the driver several time and even clean all kx and asio entries in the registry to make it work. I also tried that with the audigy but nothing helps... Thanx for helping ! RG |

make sure you have directx8.1 (or higher) installed and "hardware acceleration" set to full at "cotrolpanel/multimedia"

click 'settings' -> 'reset global settings'
then 'settings' -> 'reset device settings' reboot re-check the hardware acceleration in the control panel then try settings-> asio control panel /E |
