SX2 / ASIO Input Problems
Just tonight I've upgraded to the latest kX drivers (3537) and all of a sudden there are no input busses in Cubase SX (v2).
I can't record into Cubase, although I can record in Cool Edit & other programs. The rest of the ASIO driver is working fine - Reason is still going great guns - I just can't record new audio. I've been through as many settings as I can find and have gotten nowhere. I've even uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it a second time... Is this a bug or is there just something I've missed? I'm using an SBLive card on an AMD based pc. |

Please read the faq before posting... Change you Cubase KX ASIO settings to 48khz. In 44.1khz you can only playback and not record...

with the cubase asio inputs, if the live is a 5.1 (sb0060 or sb001x) you will notice that there is a problem with asio routings, so just scan each input until you find you have one that will record

it's the way the chip was designed, it runs at 48khz, to resample to 44100 it would increase the latency beyond useable in asio
