Hi,
Just done re-instaling kX drivers on my XP system, as I was having input problems including Cubase SX ASIO malfunctions. I installed the ***-3534f version drivers, and now all is OK, besides one annoying fact: whatever I do - my AC97 LineIn signal is routed direct to my output!!! Also, the kX mixer is acting very strange: The Master section and In's-&-Out's faders have no effect on the signal - something is going on round the backdoor!!! - Prolog AC97 isdirectly routed to Epilog Asio 14 & 15 - All other Epilog connection are disconected H E L P ! ! ! PS:
This seems to be a general problem with the card: IRemoved the kX drivers, only to have windows XP persistantly install it's own SBlive drivers. As soon as the drivers are in place, I get audio piped from the LineIn input straight to the Analog (front) output. Does anyone have a clue what the hell is going on here?

ok www.hardwareheaven.com/cleaner to get rid of creative drivers, delete or rename driver.cab in the windows/drivers folder
and try v 3537 as for line in piped to front out… go into the DSP and rightclick and select reinitialize DSP also check out http://www.angelfire.com/electronic2...gettingstarted

No Luck
Thanks - Tried your tip but same result. Obviously, this has nothing to do with the kX driver, rather Window's own SB driver. XP keeps re-instaling it as soon as I re-boot, no matter what I do

find driver.cab and rename the extension to .bak, or follow the stops on the kX Website for manual installation
