exclamation Important note for Cubase/kX setup

Hi,
After spending much time setting up, and reading most of the Cubase/kX
threads, here is a small but important reminder:
Getting sound into Cubase:
1. Setup the signal to be routed from the AC97 Line In to ASIO ports
14 & 15. This can be done rather strait forward by hooking Prolog pins 1 & 2 (AC97)
to Epilog ASIO pins 14 & 15.
2. Make sure the various kX mixer tabs are setup accordingly, much has been posted
in this forum about this.
If you follow the directions as can be found at http://au.geocities.com/kxcubase/
you should be getting a signal in Cubase.

Now you have to make sure you actually get an output signal too:
ASIO gets its inputs via the EPILOG unit, but outputs via the FXBus unit,
which can lead to a bit of confusion. FXBus Pins 1-16 output ASIO 0-15 respectivly.
Now you have to route a pair of these to an Audio ouput on the EPILOG.
I have FXBus pins 14 & 15 routed to EPILOG pins 1 & 2 (Analog front L & R).

Easy, but easy to overlook!
