Help recording non=asio!!!
Ok, here's my problem people... I want to use the software "skype" to make phone calls to friends on the net.... www.skype.com .... anyway...I can record through ASIO in cubase and such just fine...however...when I try to use skype...no one can hear me...if I record in a non asio app, such as windows sound recorder, it comes out sounding like a chipmunk, due to my recording settings being at 48khz... How can I get this to work? Bare in mind I'm using the mic2 input on a live drive on a soundblaster audigy...so I can't just choose "mic2" on the recording dropdown menu in the kx mixer... why it's not there, I do not know. Please help me.

in the DSP connect the "mic2" connector from the prolog directly to the "RecL/R" connectors on the epilog

in the ins and outs window of the kX mixer, unmute and increase the volume of the mic2/line2 slider
