CubSX: "kx ASIO Init error: no error"

Hi there!
I just installed the kx drivers for my SBLIVE.
Note: The original sblive drivers have NOT been previously installed
on my system, only the windows drivers for sblive. Furthermore i have a terratec soundcard installed on my system.

I have CubaseSX, on which I disabled the terratec device (ASIO multimedia setup)

When I want to change to the kx ASIO driver in cubase, I get the Error:
"kx ASIO Init error: no error"

Does anybody know what this error means and how to fix it?
Furtheromore there is another error: When I klick on
Settings > ASIO Control Panel (the menu of the kx manager)
there does no ASIO settings window appear...

Thanks for your help!

funkyP.

howdy folks,

i found the fix for the error myself:
when you klick on "speaker test"
it says you have to go to

windows cotrol panel> multimedia > audio > advanced properties
and set "rate conversion quality" to "best"

after i have done this
by klicking
Settings > ASIO Control Panel (the menu of the kx manager)
finally the ASIO control Panel DOES appear,
and in CubSX I don't get the error anymore
AND I have 5msec latency now >> *keeewl* )

Greets

It works!

Thanks so much for this post - this error in Cubase was driving me crazy - I am using 5.1, but found I had not set the speakers to 5.1 and didn't notice the Performance tab in the Windows Audio panel - once I set Hardware Acceleration to "Full" and sample rate quality to 'Best" I was good to go. Latency at about 5ms and the sound I am getting through the digital out into my DAT deck and my mixer is awesome!
