Asio Audigy2.ZS / WamiRack24,96

Asio Audigy2.ZS / WamiRack24,96
Hello,

I'm currently utilizing the 2 above mentionned cards in my p.c. without particular difficulties as far as my music software goe. I however have a problem with Infinity from Sound Quest; if it try to play with some sof-synths i made with this program, i can use the WamRack 24/96 without problems. However the KX(3537)/Audigy 2.ZS audio output(Asio) will have my synths sound distorted.
What could be the reason for that? I took good care to ensure that the sampling rates correspond but still there is distortion ( not level distortion ).

P4 Intel 2.1 ghz
Ram 512

Many thanks!

P.S. In my orther applications i'm able to shift from one card to the other without encoutering this problem.

it sounds like it is an issue with the software itself… try changing latency settings

Asio Audigy2.ZS / WamiRack24,96

Hello DjStick,

I have tried the latency settings as you suggested, but to no avail.

If i try to use the Kx(3537)/Wave drivers instead of the Asio in Infinity, i'm able to have the 2.ZS/Kx working correctly. However the lowest Output latency ( i.e. without distortion ) i can get with this setting is 37 ms. I can set the Input latency at 5 m.s.

Are there any other settings i should try to set in the KX drivers in order to have its Asio driver working correctly with Infinity?

P.S. when do you think v. 3538 will be out?

Many thanks!

Addendum Are these Kx/ Wave drivers WDM drivers?

kX is WDM
try using the 3538a version (link in the general discussion forum)
i haven't used your application so i don't know what you're problem is - i don't think kX asio has any settings to help you
