Jon_Slaughter is on a distinguished road

Cannot turn off "monitor" in kx, cannot record in 44khz

I cannot turn off what is heard coming into the line in.

Here are the buttons I've tried messing with:

While in an asio program:
AC97 in the 'in's and out's', if I mute this, I cannot get a signal at all
AC97 in the recording, does nothing
LineIn: increases the volume when turned on... but when muted, there still exsists a pretty high lvl sound.

while in a normal non-asio program:
AC97 in the in's and outs will cute the "monitored' signal
AC97 in the recording, controls the overall lvl of what I'm recording
LineIn: does same as it does in asio.

I've also removed the recL and recR connections in the DSP, but that doesn't help.

I also cannot record went setting the sample rate to 44khz.

Anyone have any clues?
