Some other ASIO Driver
there are always people who are asking for ASIO for USB-Cards.
KX is ONLY working with internal PCI-Cards and the cards MUST HAVE the 10k1 (live5.1, value...) or the 10k2 chip on it (audigy, audigy2) http://www.asio2ks.de/ works well http://michael.tippach.bei.t-online.de/asio4all/ working also well, http://www.asiox.tk/ thisone is the fastest for my laptop, work also with more than 1 card

I tried the ASIOx driver, and it solved my problems with MIDI based DXi and VSTi Synths. (Kontakt, Kompakt, etc.) You can check my previous thread (ASIO & CT4832. Help with cracks and pops)
Achieved a 4ms latency with my Athlon XP 2400, 512 Mb DDR, and OEM SB Live!. But it's unusable with Guitar Rig, until i raise the latency up to >40ms. I will be using KX for Guitar (in fact, ASIOx doesn't work well with software monitoring, it's not a Guitar Rig related issue. Within Sonar 3, I just turned on the monitor button, and I heard crap, no effects patched on the track). For MIDI based Synths I'll use ASIOx. Can you do software monitoring with your laptop and ASIOx? What settings do you use? Cheers
