How Can I Record 24/96 with Audigy2 ?

Can i record 24/96 from ac`97 on my SB0240 without recalculation (passing through 10k2)?
And what is the real equivalent for p16v in system ? i found that isn`t related to HQ device... is it in or out ? how should i connect it to record ?
and, finally - when the ASIO2 will be implemented ? i just cannot record 24/96 to Cubase ;( ;( in any way
