??? Can I get everything working?

Hi, I'm using Kx drivers since August and they're working fine. I have only one issue:
When I setup my Sonar 3.1 to work with the ASIO drivers (48000khz, 16-bit) I can play soft synths, rewire with Reason 2.5, with almost no latency (2 to 5 ms). But that way I can't record any audio. With exactly the same setup, I change Sonar to WDM drivers, and in 44100khz 16-bit I can playback/record audio but now I have a latency above 10 ms (that makes me unable to play my lovely dxi synths). So I work only with GigaStudio.
By the way, my Sonar doesn't like to switch back from WDM to ASIO, when I try that the Playback Timing Master is set to "--none--" and can't get my ASIO to work again unless I restore the XP settings using System Restore. I know that's not the point here, but if somebody has any suggestion, please let me know.

My setup: AMD Athlon 2400+ @ 2.0 Ghz, Windows XP SP1, 512 Mb RAM, SB Live 5.1.
Running apps: Sonar 3.1, GigaStudio 2.5, Reason 2.5.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Robert, I surely want to upgrade my card, but don't have the $$$. Besides, I'm sure there's a way to make it work, but I couldn't find it for myself yet.
DJ knows a lot! Hope he has the time to read my humble post

I mean, got no input, it only records silence. But when I switch to WDM works perfectly fine, with that annoying dxi latency. Any clues?

Now I'm beginning to think about trying some other recording software, to see if that helps.
You think Cubase SX is an option?
thx

make sure you check each ASIO input, make sure you have wires drawn the the ASIO section of the epilog in the kX DSP

Just to be sure, what should I connect in ASIO inputs/outputs? I'm using the AC97 line in input for audio.
I tried several combinations, none of them worked.
