Direct monitoring of LiveDrive inputs...it just doesnt happen

Haven't been able to monitor the livedrive inputs directly. That is, i can't hear my novation nova which is plugged into the line-2 input.I try and set the faders in the mixer app but nothing does happen.I'm sure its something easy and obvious i'm missing, but any quick ideas would be appreciated.

Well i'll be more specific.I'm using a sblive 5.1 ,and i rec audio through the live drives line in.

Up to now i was able to monitor the signal from live drives inputs and set the level from the creative

software mixer . This just doesn't happen with the kx mixer . I mean i set the faders up and nothing happens. I know audio is getting to the line in but i can't hear anything coming out from my

speakers.

I'm not trying to use the drivers along with any sequencer,i'm just trying to hear to whatever i'm feeding the livedrive from my speakers, that's all. .Any ideas will be appreciated.

(All my connections are working ok by the way,and i use vstis and can play audio from tracktion just fine)

Have you swapped your speakers around? kX uses rear output by default.

Hi!

Go to DSP forum, read sticky DSP-Setup threads or go to General forum and read sticky setup threads and learn more about the DSP. You are able to route every attached signal inside the DSP to any physical output of your card. You have to tweak the DSP - no mixer soulutions. Give it a try - it works!
