ASIO & Acid5.0 / recording
Ok so I set up acid 5.0 to use ASIO, and it sound just wonderful..
but when you render the file to a wav or mp3 it sounds like dirt. (How it used to sound before I used the ASIO) also, recording in Cool Edit Pro 2.0 sounds like how it used to sound before I set up ASIO in acid 5.0. Like crap in other words. Could someone please explain what is going on here? I want ASIO workin for everything, not just Acid 5.0's playback. Thanks.... |

yup.
i'm on a AMD Athlon 64 3200+ with 512 mb of DDR ram and a Soundblaster Live 5.1 card. If that helps any. Latancey had nothing to do with it apparently, I can hear the playback fine and it sounds great. Rendering and Recording on the other hand seems to automatically use the older drivers .... |

in the DSP, connect the AC97 left and right outputs of the Prolog module to the Rec left and right inputs on the Epilog
