there's been plenty of mention of this program around the forums, and in general, many people use it for non-kX cards, ie onboard sound, notebook sound etc.
i personally have no use for it, as i have 2 kX cards and my Soundstorm onboard has ASIO capabilities too

I installed it on a computer at work that has CMedia onboard (crappy) sound. It seems to work, though I don't really do any recording at work.

I use ASIO4ALL 1.8 in conjuction with kX3537 on the same card. This allows me to run V-Stack and Logic simultainiosly avoiding the "cant create buffer-card in use" type errors. I use this setup on stage to have access to all my VST instrument as well as the excellant Logic instruments. I havent tried ASIO4ALL 2.2 / kX3538 combination yet.
