ASIO sync modes

Is there any descriptions on these? I was able to test a simple setup (Steinberg The Grand VSTi) at 48 samples (1ms) with no clicks at m1/m5. Probably thanks to SMP instructions, but I have no idea what most of the others means, and which one should be the best (I suspect m5).

10k1 sb0220 @ kx3545 beta @ WinXP sp3

http://www.truepianos.com/ runs even at 32/48/64 ms latency, but not in default sync mode...
http://reaper.fm couldn't even start kX ASIO device in several sync mode ...

think its necessary stick it up this theme with some explanations
of kX ASIO Sync Modes & SMP and other kX driver optimization ...
