Hello there. It is very impressive what has been achieved with the Kxproject , good job.
This advanced driver could use even more tutorials for newbs like this one using kxdriver with cubase Ok now for my question. Which ASIO outputs are used for Front L/R, Rear L/R, and Centre/Sub ? I was able to set it up with wave outputs(front4/5,rear6/7,CentreSub8/9) but i can't get it to work with ASIO. Are there some extra steps? How do I assign outputs to each speaker with kxASIO ? Thanks s3n71nel. |

By default each kx asio output channel is routed to fxbus with the same index (e.g. asio0->fxbus0, asio1->fxbus1, asio7->fxbus7 etc.)
The default mapping of fxbuses to card outputs is (until you do some reconfiguration/customization in kX DSP): (extra/special fxbuxes are not shown) fxbus 0 -> front/rear left fxbus 1 -> front/rear right fxbus 4 -> front left fxbus 5 -> front right fxbus 6 -> rear left fxbus 7 -> rear right fxbus 8 -> center fxbus 9 -> sub You can change ASIO out to fxbus routing via "kX Router" The first box on the right pane of "kX Router" shows index of fxbus which selected tree item is send to. Example: You want ASIO4(/5) to be sent to Rear Left/Right. Open "kX Router" and select "ASIO->kX Out 4" in the sources tree. You'll see that first box on the right pane shows "4", this means that the first (left) channel of "kX ASIO 4" is routed to "front left" (see table above)... Change "4" to "6" - now left channel of "kX ASIO 4" goes to "rear left". Do same thing for "kX Out 5" (this is right channel for "kX ASIO 4"), e.g. change its target bus from "5" to "7"... Now right channel of "kX ASIO 4" goes to "rear right".

Ahh ok I understand. It's working now, thanks man.
The Kx wave and Kx ASIO use the same numbers so its easy. (Front L/R =4/5, Rear L/R=6/7, Centre/Sub =8/9) I think I was mixing up the front and rear numbers and getting confused. ok cya s3n71nel |
