ASIO problem / Audigy Platinum EX / Emagic Logic
Hello,
1th: I'm very glad that kx-project [incl. this forum] exists. It's my final driver-hope before I'll bomb my soundcard and wish evil on CREATIVE. [sorry for polemics] My problem in WinXP or 98SE with Audigy Platinum EX: I can't record any analog mic/line inputs or play sounds with KX-ASIO. Neither in Emagic Logic or Wavelab. Using WDM causes enormous feedbacks at least in Logic. Can anybody give me a clue how to route or connect the inputs/outputs in the KX-DSP? I'd be happy if a routing idea could come as a grafic. I also tried http://au.geocities.com/kxcubase, but I couldn't fix the problem. In addition to this problem: I can't hear the live-sound over the loudspeaker when I use a microphon- but [with WDM] it is recorded fine. Thank you very much in advance. ------------------------------------------- asus P4B533-E Intel Pentium IV / 2,4 GHz 512 DDR-Ram WD- HD 80 GB / 8 MB Cache WinXP professional soundblaster audigy platinum ex emagic logic 5.2. / wavelab 4.0g ------------------------------------------- |

1. Did you replug your main speakers to black ("rear") output?

ASIO problem / Audigy Platinum EX / Emagic Logic
Okay, you're right: I used the "line out" instead of "rear out". Now I can hear the Microphone / line IN live. Thank you.
But the main problems still exists: I plug a microphone in Line-In2/Mic2 of External Drive OR Card and try to record in Wavelab or Logic or any other App with ASIO-drivers. But it doesn't work. There is no level of signal. I have to use 16 bit / 48 Khz. I unmuted sound sources in kx-mixer. In Logic I cannot use ASIO driver: "Error creating output buffer #12 [size 1024] VirtualLock failed (-5 bug). Compact your memory and retry". I use the BETA kx 3528. With 3526 I could adjust KX-ASIO in Logic but it also din't work. Thank you in advance. schneesteinauge |

Yeah- I solved the ASIO problem at least for Wavelab. I connected the prolog 8/9 [Line2/Mic2] with the Epilog Asio 0 and Asio 1 . Now I can record with ASIO up to 24 Bit / 48 KHz. Fine.
When sbd [Max?] could help me solve the problem with Logic Audio I'll have my x-mas previously! error: "Error creating output buffer #12 error= -105 [size 1024] VirtualLock failed (-5 bug). Compact your memory and retry". thank you |
