Please, How To Record More Than 2 Mono Channels In Live 5.1

Hi People, iīm from Brazil.

Well... I have a doubt.

Itīs possible to record more than 2 mono channels in Sound Blaster Live 5.1 (SB0200). At this moment i record by LINE IN port 2 telephone lines (L and R).

Well... I need record more than this for each Sound Blaster 5.1 . I know that if i use more Sound Blaster cards I can record more lines... But i need record more lines with only ONE sound blaster 5.1 ou Audigy....

Can any one help me?

Use ASIO. With your 10K1 based card you should be able to record up to 14 mono channels using ASIO. (Of course you still only have the 1 line in though, to record multiple external lines, I think you would need some kind of multiplexer).

I *think* you would need to add the LINE2 IN dac/spdif available on the 'live drive' connector. And use ASIO as mentioned above.

U can use digital inputs if your card has the AUD_EXT connector or if you have a LiveDrive - it depends on your card model how many SPDIF inputs are available. Without LiveDrive you need also an analog to SPDIF-converter module for each SPDIF input to have access from analog stereo sources.
