audigy2 zs plat pro multi-input recording help

i've gone through the forums (plenty of posts but no workable answer for me) and followed the instructions in the kx help to no avail.

I want to be able to use all 3 inputs in Audiomulch - i can set it up in the Asio control panel and select them in Amulch asio input settings but cannot get a peep out of them

the prolog appears to already be connected to ASIO via the last 16 epilog slots

any pointers on directions to the thread i missed will be much appreciated?

thanks

The host software needs to differentiate between the multiple drivers kx offers:
KX ASIO SB0350 10K2 [b800] Kx In 00
KX ASIO SB0350 10K2 [b800] Kx In 02
KX ASIO SB0350 10K2 [b800] Kx In 04 etc.. it what shows up in sonar. I would think its the same (except the SB XXXX [b800] which are card model and IO slot).

Record source is selected for the input that the ASIO channel corresponds to.

In 0: AC97 in (Line Mic CARD inputs)
In 2: CD Digital in (internal Card Input)
In 4: Unknown 1 in
In 6: Coaxial / Optical in (LiveDrive/Daughter Card)
In 8: Line 2/mic 2 in (LiveDrive)
In 10: Unknown 2 in
In 12: AUX 2 in (LiveDrive)

yeah the multiple drivers come up in audiomulch as KX ASIO SB0360 [df00] and then the channels com up 1,2 / 3,4 / 5,6 etc

i'm not getting sound through to any software using ASIO - regardless of how i set the record and play levels in kx mixer - so i'm assuming something is setup wrong.

ok have been here:

http://thomasabarnes.beplaced.com/new_page_2.htm

and here:

http://members.home.nl/nahutec/kxtutor/kxtutor.html

tried some DSP setups and still getting nothing through the ASIO ins in Audiomulch or Max/MSP

then I read the readme.html file in the KXPROJECT directory and found this:

"The Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro is not fully supported yet. There are issues with the line in ADC."

so is that my answer? That i can't get discrete input channels yet?
The implication from a lot of the forum posts i've read is that people have it working.

What sample rate, bit depth are you using? With kX it has to be 16Bit/48KHz. Make sure it's set that way in the program youre using. Could that be it?

in Asio Control panel i have 16bit/48khz [16+16] selected

in mulch and max I select 48khz so that is not the problem - outputs are fine just no inputs

in fact the input seems to be generally dreadful overall - in directsound i get nothing and in windows multimedia I have to use the p16v thing on i2s0,1,2 to even just get line 1 - picks nothing up from line 3

very confusing

ok well i finally got it working - thomas's website help is the basis
(http://thomasabarnes.beplaced.com/new_page_2.htm)

but i cut it down to basics

front / centre_subwoof & rear srcs (3)
srcs for the 3 analog inputs and 1 for digital in

connected all of the input srcs DIRECTLY to asio and the output srcs directly to the k2lt and it works fine - all mixing is then done in audiomulch which suits me in so far as I then need to tweak only one window

adding a limiter after the 3 analog inputs is my next effort

chrs
