hello guys.
can anybody explain to me: - How do i configure Cubase sx for recording w/ kx driver? (i already set the asio-kx driver...but.) - Do i have to click "leave asio in back ground" option? is that the problem? - Must i activate the vst system link?? I unfortunatley hav no experience with these setting since i used those crappy creative drivers(which didn't require settings).... till yesterday. marco

Cubase SX settings
I'm in similar position - just trying first time cubase sx and ASIO. If you can select kxAsio from cubase settings, the driver is correctly installed. I got it working this way: in kxDsp Make link from prolog to epilog, Here's guide:
http://au.geocities.com/kxcubase/index.html I didn't need to touch vst system link or that leave check box. Last edited by wilho; Jan 14, 2003 at 12:56 PM. |

I had issues with the description on that page too - it says to connect to asio14 & asio15 in the epilog, but I couldn't get it working - even after remapping the vst inputs. Try using asio0 and asio1 in the epilog instead (connected from same prolog inputs) - it won't require any changes in the vst input panel in cubase. (Incidentally, I'm having other latency issues, that i've posted in another thread, but it's probably unrelated to this issue, and I think the epilog change will fix your problem.)
