Hardware Directx problem

Hi have a strange problem with my x800xl it says my hardware directx 9 is 0 which i dont understand.

In css for example the hardware part if showing as 0 and my fps is terrible in games :S

I run the latest drivers with ccc

specs

p4 2.4
pc2700 2 gig
2x80 gig hardrives
x800xl aiw agp (4x)
audigy 2zs

That's odd.. you are not the only one that has that problem look at post #7 in this thread : http://www.hardwareheaven.com/windows-xp-2k-radeon-display-drivers/118479-i-just-installed-my-x1950xtx-one-bug.html

It might bee DirectX problem...you have newest DirectX from Microsoft?

yeah might the august one but its strange when i click install it goes really fast the installation i mean.

only thing it says is my sound drivers are not digitally signed

Hmm... this is odd... have you asked ATi if it's driver issue?

My CS Source started acting up after I installed the latest DX.... coincidence?
