how to control line in rec / vol level seperatly
hi!
im using Creative_PAX-NewYearv1.2 with my audigy1. now i wanted to record using line in. but if i slow down the play-level it reduces the record level as well ![]() how to fix this ?! changing it in win system controls doesnt help. os=xp |

Did you try smart recorder? You might want upgrade to audigy 4 pro software
with pax 2.32 sp2 driversYou do have sp2 for xp correct?

Sounds like there is something really wrong.
If not yet tried, try with ASIO (or WDM/KS (Kernel Streaming)) drivers. You need software that support this driver mode to get it working. If ASIO or WDM/KS don't fix this issue, just install the original Creative drivers (may need to use clean sweep method (or use driver cleaner) to get completely rid of those modded drivers). jiitee |

I'm only using creative or modded drivers because of EAX support, instead I would exclusevly use KX-audio drivers, which are best for recording imo... ps: i found a guy with the same prob, he's got an audigy4 and original drivers... 0_o |
