Audigy 2 EAX problem cant find "ahqrun.exe"

Had a working Aud 2 ZS, when something I was doing trashed the sound output completely.

I reinstalled with the newest 02.08.0004 drivers , and the original support utils from the install disk.

Back to working. But I have a problem that didn't exist before. When I try to edit an EAX adio effect, I get this message "Windows cannot find ahqrun.exe "

Can't find this file on the install CD, and I didn't have this issue before.

Can anyone offer some help here?

PS I see the file name appears in a few places internally on the install CD. It also shows on the 'kill.ini' file in the WDM\Common dir. Not sure what this kill is for.

[KILL.B]
audiohqu.exe
rcman.exe
ctsysvol.exe

[KILL.A]
ahqrun.exe <<-------
ctltray.exe
ctltask.exe
ctplay2.exe
surmix2.exe
rcenter.exe
adgjdet.exe
mplayer2.exe
rcman.exe
cthelper.exe

The AudioHQ package can be found from installation CD (path "\Audio\AudioHQ").
Just run the setup found on that folder to install the app.

If you can't find the app -- DL the ISO for A2Zs, extract the AudioHQ setup from there to your HD and install.

Thanks. I don't know why it wasn't installed the first time. I selected components by hand, so maybe I overlooked it.

Are there any updated versions of the utilities that are worth getting?
