Well my OS caved in, so I did a nice fresh format.
I have got an Audigy 2 Pro and want to install the latest drivers that are floating around. I have seen many guides and particularly like this one: http://wiki.extremeoverclocking.com/...digy_4_Softmod I'm currently downloading a file called: Audigy4prosoftware_Youp.7z Is that a substitute for the audigy4.iso? To sum up, do I follow the guide listed above to the letter but instead of the PAX 1.02, I use the PAX 2.33? Do I still need to download the patches it mentions if I'm downloading a YouP audigy4 hacked 7z? Just a little lost really ![]() Help much appreciated Cheers |

Hey...
Are you sure you need the 2.32 sp2 first? I went ahead and just installed the 2.33 and I had sound but a few problems. To boot into windows now takes forever, and hangs frequently. Secondly, Internet went. Lastly, The sound was reversed so I thought I had the wires the wrong way, changed those, then I lost all sound. Even changing back doesn't work. I'll get rid of them - Reboot Use driver cleaner - Reboot Install 2.32 sp2 - Reboot Install 2.33 - Reboot twice (Read something in the read me about that) Cheers |
