Audigy2 Notebook and laptop speakers?

Is it possible to use the audigy 2 notebook with my laptop speakers?
If not, is it possible to install and use the card with the onboard (Realtek) sound enabled? Would the 2 conflict?

Edit: Just realised that I posted this in the wrong forums. Can a mod please move this?

i think onboard sound is hardwire to the laptop speakers… unless you connect the line out of the a2zsnb to the line in of the onboard sound you won't be able to use the laptop speakers

in the sound mixer app make sure you un-mute and set the level for the Line in fader as appropriate

Ok, I got the utility installed and it's working, but the sound seems to be somewhat low, even when the speakers are turned all the way up. Is there a way to fix this?

Hey DJ, I can't use the mixer because I'm using the latest drivers that integrated most of those "extra" apps.

Nope Check them out. You can get an idea of what I'm talking about by installing the latest drivers for the PCI ver of the ZS. It's basically the same as the notebook version, plus a few things.

The only controls are from the Windows Control Panel. There is an option to synchronize with the CP.
